confidence 85%
Verifiably safe ·what tier A+ means

The kitchen is 100% vegan. No animal products are allowed on the premises. HappyCow has categorized Tau as a full "Vegan" venue since it opened in September 2020, not simply a place with vegan options. Reviewers highlight this. Puschelbubu notes "100% vegan" as a pro. DanielPauxberger says "Alles vegan und extrem gut" (everything vegan and extremely good). The online menu lists every dish as vegan or plant-based vegetarisch, in the context of a vegan kitchen. Mock proteins like Sojafleisch, vegane Ente, and vegane Garnelen are confirmed entirely plant-based across the full menu.

Soy-free

D
confidence 70%
Not recommended ·what tier D means

Sojafleisch is the key protein. It appears in noodle soups, fried rice, fried noodles, rice-noodle dishes, starters, and mains, and Avocado Rolle explicitly lists Sojafleisch while Sommer Rolle lists both Sojafleisch and Sojabohnen. Edamame is a starter too. No soy-free accommodation is evidenced anywhere on the menu or in any review, so this kitchen is structurally unsuitable for anyone managing a soy allergy.
